Hostway is a global web hosting, and technology infrastructure company headquartered in Austin, Texas, United States, founded in 1998. It provides individuals, small- to medium-sized businesses, and large corporations with hosting services for web sites, databases, business applications, and managed web hosting. Hostway Services Inc. serves customers worldwide. Hostway merged with Hosting.com in January of 2019. The merged company rebranded to Ntirety in September of 2019.

Lindsey Jones shared her experience using Hostway on Who is hosting this? on Apr 26, 2017:

"Extremely slow hosting where pages take literally minutes just to save. Antiquated account back-end and cPanel. Terrible user experience on all fronts.

24/7 Support is a nice feature however I wouldn’t need 24/7 support if their system was more user-friendly and clear.

WPEngine is well worth the upgrade for the ease of use. Would never recommend Hostway."

Windows Administrator (Former Employee) says

"Extremely poor lower to mid management. Most of them have no clue what they are doing and if for whatever silly reason they don't like you you will be in for a very difficult time. The same goes if you aren't a part of the in crowd there. Some of the worst people I have ever met in my life work there. The biggest mistake of my career was accepting a job at this place. I was miserable every second. You also get to work with a ton of Bulgarians who will throw you under the bus in a heart beat. I could go on and on. I cannot overstate what a horrible this place is. You have been warned!!Free snacks, breakfast on Fridays and lunch on ThursdaysEverything else"

System Administrator II (Former Employee) says

"I made a lot of a great life long friends, however I wouldn't recommend anyone working there."

Marketing Manager (Former Employee) says

"Didn't matter if deadlines were met. No accountability anywhere in the company. No communication from upper management. No strategy or goals and no personal goals. It was like working in a frat house. Might sound like fun at first and sure, it was occasionally fun but seriously people - grow up. While searching for funding, they would actually CHANGE the corporate strategy based on which investor they were talking too!nothing that I can think of except the free lunch on Thurs for the Austin data center guystoo numerous to count. Run, do not walk, away from this company. How they are still in business is beyond me"

System Administrator II, (Former Employee) says

"Poor Management is a major thing. Problems and their solutions are pointed out, nothing is done. Only when something costs $$, is something done. When the problem could have been avoided in the first place. Zero communication downward. When you do hear downward communication it's sunshine and rainbows, regardless if staff cuts are the next week. Co-worker environment is fine. Nor many crazy/jerks people work there.Free LunchesLack of direction"

Director of Channel Sales (Current Employee) says

"Was a tier 1 Hosting provider, but due to executive inaction around product development and infrastracture investment it is now adrift in a sea of giants...Good StaffBad Exec Mgt"

Manager (Former Employee) says

"Opportunity for growth and learning is only limited to oneself desire to learn and grow. Various environments create the ability to learn many different disciplines in enterprise technology."

"very bad company for hosting, in fact I had my email hosting there, one day my account was suspended because someone hacked it and I had already linked my email with a lot of company for two-factor authentication but hostway refuses to anyway to find solution of my problem"

Andrea Pettit says

"Sister Company-MyHosting

I had been a myhosting customer for years. I had a credit card expire and missed one payment. They terminated - TERMINATED the service. And guess what, their answer was to move to Hostway their "sister" company. Seriously, if you want people to migrate why not work with them? TERMINATE? I will absolutely go elsewhere. Thank you, and NO THANK YOU!"

Kristian Johansen says

"Hostway hosted our pl.domain. In the meantime Hostwat stopped offering pl-domains and claimed there was a technical problem in renewing our website. Instead of suggesting us to transfer our website to another provider, they kept assuring us, that they were investigating the case - for more than 2 months.

Eventually our domain was hi-jacked by an alien company, when Hostway allowed it to expire - so we had to buy it for a big sum.

No regrets, no honesty - stay away!"
